GK: Ibracadabra10 (Juventus) – Ibracadabara Zlatakazam! Starting off the final TOTW of an exhilarating S4 in the PCN is Juventus’ magical netminder Ibracadabra10. Ibra spent the first part of the season playing in the attack, but a recent switch to keeper has paid off as he was able to notch 43 saves as well as grab a KP and MOTM award in the past 7 games. Juve may have had a rough season overall as they finished bottom of the table, but at least Ibracadabra can know he did everything he could to prevent that from happening.
LB: iPirro (Bayern Munich) – Version 3.0 of the new iPirro device is arguably the most complete yet, as the Bayern Munich left back earns his 3rd TOTW honor of the season. While his defensive stats may have lagged behind in earlier editions of the TOTW, Pirro was a rock in the Bavarian defense over the past week and a half with 3 CS, 1 KP, 8 PP, 9 DT, and 16 INT. Bayern may have come up 2 points short of the title, but iPirro clearly laid everything on the line at the end of the year in an attempt to thwart Real Madrid.
CB: XxVnzla AlexX (Bayern Munich) – After not featuring in the first TOTW of the season, Bayern’s XxVnzla AlexX made sure he wouldn’t miss another one as he makes his 3rd consecutive TOTW. Alex has been a steady presence all season for Bayern and turned in some more quality performances in his last 6 games with 3 CS, 2 KP, 7 PP, 9 DT, and 17 INT. While Real Madrid did ultimately win the S4 title, I’m sure Alex will have his team ready to challenge for the Cup and potentially knock off Real Madrid in the final.
CB: KingEvan300 (Chelsea) – The King finally claims his proper throne! Chelsea’s KingEvan300 has had to slot into CDM and RB in previous versions of the TOTW, but there was no doubt he was going to nab a slot in CB this week. Evan led a strong end to the season for Chelsea with a line of 1 G, 1 A, 1 CS, 2 KP, 11 PP, and 23 huge INTs over the past 3 game days. Evan looks to have his squad in top shape heading into the Cup after Chelsea lost just 1 of its final 11 games and climbed all the way up to 5th by the end of the season.
RB: rednightwing (AC Milan) – The first of four Englishmen to make the final TOTW of S4, AC Milan’s attacking right back rednightwing finally gives the TOTW a proper RB this season. Rednight has been getting up and down the right flank for most of the season now for Milan, and he took his game to another level over the past 6 games with 1 A, 2 CS, 5 DT, 7 INT, 11 PP, and a whopping 9 KP. Much like his DC Comic superhero namesake, rednightwing is a master acrobat and fighter in Milan’s defense.
LCM: gatoteo (AS Roma) – Gato? Teo? Gatoteo? Well, I’m not exactly sure what a gatoteo is, but gato is Spanish for cat and teo sounds like tail, so we’re calling the next member of the TOTW Mr. Cat Tails! Gatoteo nearly claimed this week’s POTW honor with 2 A, 4 KP, 2 CS, 13 DT, 17 INT, and 2 MOTM awards over his past 5 games. Roma and Cat Tails are arguably the inform team of the PCN right now, and they’ve got a very intriguing first round matchup in the Cup with Chelsea.
CM: Fungus I 88 I (AS Roma) – The fungus is back! Fungus I 88 I has returned in full force just in time to earn his second TOTW honor of S4. Playing CDM next to Cat Tails for Roma and in this TOTW, Fungus was able to put up a huge stat line in the past week and a half with 1 G, 1 A, 2 KP, 13 DT, 3 CS, 10 INT, 9 PP, and a MOTM award. Some types of fungus are not very tasy and can even be toxic to animals including humans, but Fungus I 88 I has proved this season that he is truly the “Truffle of PCN”.
RCM: x ChoKKezZ (SL Benfica) – Finishing off the midfield in this TOTW is SL Benfica’s star man x ChoKKezZ. Chokez lived up to his name during his last 5 games as he as strangled opposition attacks to the tune of 14 DT, 18 INT, 2 MOTM awards, and a goal to boot. Benfica never really got things going this season as a team as they finished 14th in the table, but Chokez looks like a player who could slot into the midfield for pretty much any side in the PCN.
LW: DaPanicAttack (Chelsea) –Just take a deep breath everyone… Defenders everywhere in the PCN were grasping for paper bags to breathe into recently as Chelsea’s manager and LW DaPanicAttack was on fire earning the final POTW honor of S4. Panic did a little bit of everything for the Blues over the last 6 games with 6 G, 2 A, 9 KP, 11 PP, and a crazy 3 MOTM awards. While Chelsea spent a good portion of the season in the mid table, there’s no reason for panic as Panic and co. finished the season on a blistering pace and head into the Cup full of confidence.
ST: mojo1980fl (Arsenal) – He’s got his mojo back again baby! Arsenal’s main man mojo1980fl rounds out the list of Englishmen in this list as he earns his second TOTW of S4. Mojo’s creativity was on full display in the past week and a half as he closed out the year with 3 G, 3 A, 12 KP, 11 PP, and 2 MOTM awards. Arsenal may have lost their chance at the title with 2 losses on February 26, but they finished unbeaten after that and due to the quality of players like Mojo are one of the favorites to bring home this season’s Cup.
RW: xXbobishereXx (AC Milan) – We found him! It took until the last position in the last TOTW of S4, but we finally found AC Milan’s xXbobishereXx in the TOTW. Bob is here because of his excellent performances over the final 6 games with 4 G, 2 A, 8 KP, a MOTM award, and an insane 17 PP. Hopefully Bob can use his experience in winning last season’s Cup to help AC Milan power through what is looking like a loaded Cup here in S4.
Honorary 12th Man: XxHAZ4RD0USxX (Barcelona) - After a bit of an oversight by the PCN editors and some passionate insisting by his teammates, we are adding Barcelona forward XxHAZ4RD0USxX as the 12th man to this TOTW. Haz4rd had an excellent final 6 games with 7 G, 1 A, 7 KP, 6 PP, and 3 MOTM awards to help Barca finish their amazing run into the 8th and final spot in the Cup. Haz4rd only joined the PCN midseason, but he's been a huge part of the Catalonian revival and will be one of the players to watch if Barcelona are going to have a chance at upsetting Real Madrid in the first round of the Cup.
