GK: Hype Heaven (Real Madrid) – Once when I was a child, someone told me the hype was real... I never believed it but then last week I died and saw Real Madrid play in the PCN and knew that the Hype Heaven was legit. Los Blancos would not be sitting at the top of the table after the first two weeks if it weren’t for Hype’s terrific performances between the sticks. With a league leading 4 clean sheets and 40 saves so far, this goalkeeper has had a fantastic start to his PCN career and looks to be a key component to the success of the league’s early title favorites.
LB: iPirro (Bayern Munich) – Apple products seem to come in all shapes and sizes these days, and Bayern Munich seem to have stumbled upon a new prototype attacking fullback in iPirro. Often seen overlapping well everyone at Bayern, Pirro has been an integral part to the Bavarians’ attack early on this season with 1 G, 2 A, 6 KP, and 2 CS to boot. The Munich side have struggled at times to score this season, but they’ve got a very strong defense and Pirro is proving early on this season that he’s going to be a large part of their efforts on both ends of the pitch.
CB: Risxn (Inter Milan) – It’s no coincidence that Inter Milan has very quickly “Risxn” up the table in recent days as soon as the Inter co-manager and CB Risxn joined up before the second game day and helped bring a strong squad with him to Italy. Inter has been scoring for fun lately and currently sit in 2nd, but it’s impossible to overlook Risxn’s impact at the back with a league-high 4 CS and 27 INT in only 6 games. Risxn has certainly made himself a target with his bevy of smack talk in the past 48 hours, so he and the rest of the Inter players better back that talk up with continued performances.
CB: DevoutEvening44 (Real Madrid) – Another player that has created some controversies lately is Real Madrid’s DevoutEvening44, who has led his club to the top of the table but has also been outspoken in the media about his displeasure with some of his teammates. Real’s co-manager has been brilliant on the pitch though with a G, 3 CS, 18 INT, and 13 PP early on in his PCN career. Devout and his teammates certainly have a strict style and set of rules, but the early returns have been very positive as the Spanish club are tied for the best defense in the league while holding a 3-point cushion after two weeks.
RB: JB RAYZOR (AS Roma) – The margins were “RAYZOR” thin as to where JB RAYZOR would end up in S4’s first TOTW, but in the end, we felt like his all-around performance warranted a spot at right back. JB clearly spent the offseason sharpening his skills so that he could slice through opponents’ attackers as he already has 1 G, 4 CS, 16 DT, 10 INT, and 8 PP in his first 6 games of the season. Roma are a team that has flown under the radar so far this season, but they’re currently in 5th with a 3-game winning streak and a balanced roster so look out for Rayzor and his Roman teammates in the future.
CM: dorseyfurcal18 (AC Milan) – After a season away on holiday in Australia chilling with supermodels, kangaroos, and Lamborghinis, dorseyfurcal18 has returned to his destructive ways in the midfield and earned a place in the TOTW. Dorsey has been a steady presence on a team that started slowly, chipping in with 1 A, 13 DT, 18 INT, 13 PP, and 2 MOTM awards. AC Milan have gone from preseason title contenders to bottom of the table and back to mid table, so if they want to keep their push up the standings Dorsey and co. will need to prove that their recent run of form is no fluke.
CDM: KingEvan300 (Chelsea) – Bow down to the king! KingEvan300! King Evan’s Chelsea team have had a slow start to the season, but the Chelsea co-manager and defensive stalwart has certainly not been the problem with 2 KP, 18 DT, 24 INT, 11 PP, and 2 MOTM awards through the first 8 games of the season. Royalty comes in all shapes and size, but this is one King that should be respected by attackers everywhere in the PCN.
CM: X2Z Assassin (Bayern Munich) – The inaugural POTW for S4 of the PCN is Bayern Munich’s new co-manager X2Z Assassin after his dominant start to the year. Nominally a CB, Assassin has proved he is just as capable in the midfield as he has assassinated his opposition with 1 G, 1 A, 3 CS, a league-leading 22 DT, 24 INT, 12 PP, and 2 MOTM awards. The strength and validity of Bayern’s title challenge will likely hinge upon players like Assassin continuing to shut down opposing offenses while waiting for their own attack to finally kick into gear.
LW: xMISFITx6661 (Manchester City) – Scoring seems to be down league wide so far in S4 of the PCN, but players like Man City’s xMISFITx6661 are proving that goals are not entirely a thing of the past. Misfit has been no misfit for the Citizens with 4 G, 3 A, 5 KP, 15 PP, and 3 MOTM awards through the first couple of weeks. With quality attackers surrounding Misfit, it seems to be only a matter of time before the Manchester club figure things out and break from mid table towards the top of the league.
ST: d1x0n10 (Chelsea) – We’re not quite sure what to call d1x0n10, other than the PCN’s most clinical finisher to start the season as he takes the striker spot in the first TOTW. A rookie in the PCN, D1X has had an excellent start with a league-high 5 G to go along with 1 A, 8 KP, 10 PP, and 3 MOTM awards. Chelsea’s slow start can be attributed mostly to a leaky defense, but the London club can’t be counted out this season if D1X can continue to score at will and everything behind him gets cleaned up.
RW: mojo1980fl (Arsenal) – No need to worry Austin Powers, this Arsenal attacker is one who has not lost his mojo! Arsenal’s manager and PCN veteran mojo1980fl is proving that he has the goods so far in S4 with 2 G, a league-leading 5 A, 6 KP, and 17 PP. Arsenal currently sit 4th in the table lurking and waiting for their opportunity to seize the lead in the PCN, and mojo looks to be the kind of manager who can get it done on and off the pitch.
